Jewellery based on traditional ancient symbols

Asimiland EPE is a small family owned
jewellery company established 43 years ago
                            in 1968.

The company creates new jewelry from
silver with traditional ancient symbols like
the “meandros “, used on jewellery
creations targeted to tourists in the summer
                            tourism season.

The company also represents the Loukas
Jewelry designer with his exclusive tri-
                            chronic design process.

Management training needs

                            Mrs. Constantina Mroumpou runs the
company and is interested in enhancing her
management skills. She has craft training in
                            jewellery making but no management
                            training.

This meant that she was very interested in
                            the enterprise cultural heritage (ECH)
training material. She found all these issues
very new and informative. She was also
involved in the ECH training needs analysis.

                      4
Training reflects needs and experiences

                            The enterprise heritage module reflected
                            Mrs. Mroumpou’s experiences. She
                            found the brand management training
very valuable to her company’s planning
                            and operations.

She said that she will disseminate the
material to the craft enterprises in the
                            area.
