Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Ashanti Forssman
Projects Abroad runs international volunteering projects and sends more than 10 000 volunteers
and interns to over 30 developing nations, worldwide. Ashanti worked for Projects Abroad as a
Volunteer Advisor for China, Sri Lanka and Moldova from October 2013 until May 2014. Due to
her great organizational, communication and problem solving skills, along with her creativity,
she got promoted to being the Senior Volunteer Advisor for a group of over 25 Volunteer
Advisors where she assisted them in their day to day tasks and problems. Ashanti was also
involved in the process of various HR related tasks such as selecting, inviting, interviewing and
appointing new staff members as well as performance management.
Ashanti dealt with volunteers, their parents as well as her colleagues from all over the world on
a daily basis.
From April until September 2016 she travelled overseas to Fiji, the Philippines, Vietnam and
Cambodia as a Communication Officer where she created news articles, videos and photos for
our marketing department.
During her three years with Projects Abroad she proved to be a very hard worker, who always
strived to deliver high quality work. She was fast and efficient and handled stressful situations
efficiently.
I can only offer the highest recommendation for Ashanti.
