Autistic spectrum disorder describe a range of
conditions classi๏ฌed as Neurodevelopmental
disorders in the DSM-5(Diagnostic and statistical
manual of mental disorder 5th edition) and American
psychiatric association.
ASD is group of neurodevelopmental conditions
de๏ฌned by impairment in three areas:
social interaction
communication or use of verbal and non-verbal
language
stereotyped, restricted or repetitive pattern of
behavior, interests and activities.
