The result would be an accessible public space with cultural centers, connected pathways, and a vegetation ring, transforming empty warehouses into an active area for the community.

It finds that while Knox County's population is growing at a similar rate to comparable counties, it has a significantly older population and lower rates of residents ages 15-34. Employment data shows Knox County has an advantage in healthcare, agriculture, and construction compared to other counties. The analysis also examines property, income, and sales tax revenues for Knox County from 2000-2014, finding the residential property tax base has increased while agricultural property has decreased.

The project aims at transferring a community redevelopment plan as done by the student in 2010, including its general layout, transportation system, dwelling types, and spatial organization, into a 3D simulation model within Esri CityEngine. The project has a two-fold goal: 1) to explore 3D GIS application in urban planning and community design, and 2) to explore Esri CityEngine as a powerful tool of building 3D communities.
This document summarizes a parking study of Grandview Heights and Bexley, Ohio. It identifies current parking issues such as a lack of wayfinding, disconnected lots, and underutilized spaces. The Landscape Today
>> Currently the site sits vacant
and possibly contaminated. The last
known use of the site was a gas station
in the 1980s. The lot to the south, on
the opposite side of Cookman Avenue,
was recently developed into up-scale
condominiums. This proposal will
complement the adjacent residential
uses while bringing new development
back down towards the ocean and
boardwalk.

and bus stop will be preserved and
the sidewalks bordering the site will
be widened to ten feet to provide for
more free pedestrian movement be-
tween the Cookman retail center and
the boardwalk.

Historic Context
>> The historic context of the development site
is very important and interesting. It turns out the
development site was at the center of the water-
front hotel district in the 1920s and 1930s and is
just across the street from the former location of
the famous Palace Amusements which at one time
included a full-size ferris wheel (see photograph on
the cover page).
>> The historic geogrpahy of the site will also play
a role in the saleability of the units. Potential ten-
ants and owners will appreciate the site’s proximity
to both the Cookman Avenue shops and restaurants
and the historic boardwalk with its own grouping
of seasonal restaurants and shops.
