5. What do you like about the current software you use?
Example Comments include:
• Used only for inspections and expertise
(Excel forms)
• We have it now and use it for other things
• Excel works well if the methodology of
APQP & PPAP is not fully understood by
everyone involved and certainly not by all
senior managements & VP’s. The software
is not the first problem, the understanding
and the intent of APQP & PPAP is more
important.
• Format was developed to meet our needs
• Nothing, changing it currently
• Don’t like it
• Easy to input and calculate. Easy to
change.
• Very flexible on customization
• Flexibility
• it's in widespread and standard use.
• Not aware of what it can do yet
• Applicable to multiple industry sectors and
is demand centric
• Not much

6. What do you NOT like about the current software you use?
Example Comments include:
• Not designed specifically for this task
• Control of documents does not work
proper (revisions, easy to find on the
server etc.).
• Cumbersome
• I developed the format
• No central location or linkage
• Easy to modify
• Not one software for all APQP
• Does not provide an overall linkage
between APQP tasks.
• Not designed for AS9145 APQP.
• No Taskk Tracking
• TBD - not used enough
• Uncoordinated and hard to track
