Narrative
• Genre: A category of artistic, musical, or literary
  composition based on form or content.
• Representation: This is the way different people,
  social groups, gender or race are shown to us.
• Audience: The people that watch, listen or read the
  media that producers create and aim their final
  product to.
• Institution: The group or society that produce a
  media piece and provide financial backing, e.g.
  Warner Bros.
• Narrative: The plot or block characters most sources
  of media share.
Mise-en-scene: Is French for
       ‘everything in the scene’
• This is an expression used to describe
  the design of a media production. It refers to
  all elements of visual style that is, both
  elements on the set and aspects of the
  camera.
Mise en Scene looks at the following
•   Set Design
•   Lighting
•   Space
•   Costume
•   Make up and Hairstyles
Conventions
• A convention is a set of agreed or generally
  accepted standards or norms.
