Acclaimed by millions, the winner of a Novel Prize in literature in 1982, passed away last April at the age of 87 because of the lymphatic cancer he fought against for many years. Gabriel’s legacy, which is translated into 40 different languages, has made a powerful impact on the book culture of many countries.
