America (Bogota, Colombia and the Andes and Amazon regions of Ecuador) was viewed as quite fruitful, especially when seeing the grace of God affect the lives of His children over the course of the month long trip.
The Sin of David
David took a census of fighting men in Israel, which angered God. As a result of David's sin of pride and failing to follow ritual law, God caused a plague to strike Israel that killed over 70,000 people. The sermon argues that while we may not know the full nature of others' sins, our own sins can have far-reaching negative consequences for many beyond just ourselves, as was the case with David's census. Therefore, we must have a penitent heart like David and consider how our choices could impact others.
Concluding Ceremony
The concluding ceremony for Yuva Spandana 2013 included a prayer dance to open the event. Mercy served as the MC and welcomed those gathered. The chief guest then gave a speech and prizes were distributed for the event. Fr Sebastian Conrad, MSFS gave the closing vote of thanks.
