Arco is a prototype device created at a hackathon to simplify notifications through the Internet of Things. It uses Bluetooth connectivity and can be worn or placed in multiple locations to notify users through color changes in response to different notification types on their smartphone. The creators prototyped voice command recognition using an Arduino kit and plan future products incorporating speech recognition, smart command control, and wearable technology like smart rings and bracelets.

15. How does Arco work?
Arco is a device that you can simply connect to through
your smartphone’s Bluetooth. It uses Bluetooth low
energy (BLE) which consumes less power than the
Bluetooth classic.
Simply pair it with your smartphone and wait for your
notifications. Its that simple.
