The state of Israel arose out of a conflict between two peoples-
Arabs and Jews occupying the same general territory and
unable to settle their differences between it.
In WWII the British passed the Palestinian problem to the
United Nations, which partitioned it into separate Arab and
Jewish states on 15th May 1948. October 1973, The Arab

Between World War I and World War II, Jews migration from all
over the world to Palestine led to new land purchases, Jewish
settlements and inters Arabs Jews clashes in 1920s and 30s
After WW II, UN Partition Plan divided the area into Jewish and
Palestinian states on 15th May 1948, which became the root
cause of conflict between Jews and Arabs

The war ended in 1949 with Israel obtaining control of 77% of
area
Egypt occupied Gaza Strip and Jordan West Bank and East
Jerusalem
Closure of Suez Canal by Egypt created another geo-political
imbalance and paved route to 1956 Sinai Campaign. June
1967 presented entirely a new map of the Middle East
In the overall perspective, a clear imbalance had been created
in the region that should have logically led to commencement
of a counter balance. Therefore next road of conflict was only a
matter of time, which resulted in 1973 Arab-Israel War
