They educate the public about the underwater sea world by displaying animals and plants in their natural aquatic habitat. Aquariums serve as attractions for cities by entertaining visitors and students with rare species that can only otherwise be seen by diving in the ocean, such as dugongs, sharks, turtles, fish, and coral.
