Students are tasked with designing the most perfect insect by combining beneficial features of real insects. Their insect must have a head, body, and legs, and may also include a tail, wings, antennae, or stinger. Students will label and explain their insect, build a model, write an informative text about it, and present their creation to the class while arguing why it is the most important and environmentally helpful insect.

1. INSECT CHALLENGE
TASK : Create the most perfect insect in the world. It is to have the best
features of all the insects and be the most beneficial to the
environment.
You are to use all your acquired knowledge about insects in order to piece together the
PERFECT INSECT. This insect can be made up by combining the BEST FEATURES from all
the insects we have been learning about.
Your insect will need to have the following features:

Once you have created your insect, you will then need to present it to the class and ARGUE
why your insect is the best and most important as well as why it is most beneficial to the
