This document advertises a storytelling workshop for teachers to learn practical techniques for telling stories effectively in a second language. The workshop will cover topics like the three P's of narrative thinking, choosing stories, using body language and props, and involving the audience. By the end of the workshop, teachers will have tools to embrace the art of storytelling. The workshop will be held on August 28th from 2-5:30pm in San Lorenzo, Argentina. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged. The workshop presenter, Fabiana Parano, is an experienced teacher trainer and storyteller.

BIODATA:
Fabiana Parano has created and performs Stories in a Bag. A teacher trainer, a storyteller
and a writer, Ms. Parano holds a Self’-Esteem Practitioner Degree from the International
Council for Self-Esteem in USA, an Accreditation for Creative Writing from Cambridge
University in UK and has majored in Storytelling at Ana Padovani’s School and at Ana María
Bovo’s School. Fabiana has also worked on character sketching and creation with Andrew
Mckenna and mimicry acting at the Mime Theatre of Escobar-Lerchundi. At present, is
exploring the world of narrative acting.
Ms. Parano has helped in Teaching Practice at Joaquín V. González Teacher Training College
and has been an English Coordinator at Septiembre School and Headmistress at
Amapola School. Her experience includes training teachers in the Art of Storytelling and its
application in a second or foreign language situation. To this end, she has delivered
workshops and presentations throughout the country, at schools, teachers’ training colleges
and for publishing houses. She has written stories of all sorts, based on the observation of
daily conflicts among students, which she indulges in sharing with her different audiences.
Her last creation is Stories in Motion, a set of audience participation kinesthetic tales,
along with catchy songs
