dead. This causes much inconvenience to the residents of this area. Rather it forfeits the objects
of a telephone connection. Many times they were attended to, but the removal of faults was
temporary.

We regret to inform you that a free occurred in our godown last night. Our watchman, who
sleeps in the premises, at once gave an alarm on discovering the fire. On prompt arrival of the
the Fire Brigade the fire was extinguished before heavy damage could be done. Seven bales of
cotton have been partially burnt and rendered unsalable by fire and water. The less is estimated
to be Rs. 24,500/-. The cause of the fire has not been traced, but it seemed that it originated in
some rubbish lying in a corner of the godown.
We shall be thankful if you will 8kindly instruct your surveyor to visit the godown and enable us to
make a claim.
