This document describes the development of a microfluidic device utilizing adhesive tape for long-term bacterial studies, integrating an autofocusing module to monitor bacterial growth and response to antibiotics. The device allows for precise delivery of antibiotic solutions and employs imaging techniques to observe the effects of antibiotics like amoxicillin and ampicillin on bacterial morphology. The study highlights the potential of this technology for novel antibiotic resistance research using CRISPR interference mechanisms.
