intolerance blatantly obvious to those who have never dealt with it. During the
experiment the subjects were treated as if the were not as good as everyone else.
As if they were lesser beings. Many people became upset and one girl even left the
room. Some people say the woman who led the experiment was too harsh and didn’t
need to go quite as far as she did. I agree with the woman's choice to continue on as
long as she did. She was right to do so. Racism and intolerance doesn’t just stop
when you want it too, it continues for a lifetime. The choice to drag out the
experiment after everyone understood the message was the right one, to help them
understand. I was upset at those who couldn’t stand to stay in the experiment for a
short time when those around them have dealt with it for a lifetime. I thought to one
woman who left was selfish and rude and may never understand the extent of hatred
that some people have to go through in their lives.
