2. Treaties Recognition Week 2020
We are all treaty people. Today, conflicts still arise between
Indigenous peoples fighting for their treaty rights and the
Canadian government or non-indigenous peoples such as land
developers. When we learn more about the treaties and
understand what they mean and why we follow them, we are
better able to move towards reconciliation.
