Annie Bildgen
1. What has you career path been at SPIE?
Annie Bildgen: Business manager in nuclear logistics, then manager of a competence
development centre, and now head of the Life Sciences department… In ten years,
I’ve had quite a variety of positions at SPIE, alternating between support functions
and more operational roles. Nothing motivates me more that the absence of routine!
What does your current position consist of?
A.B.: Since January, I have been head of the Life Sciences department at SPIE Oil & Gas
Services. My work consists in identifying the profiles of technical consultants working
for our customers in the pharmaceutical industry. The idea is to support our customers
at various stages of their projects, from drafting specifications to validating processes,
not forgetting equipment qualification.
Why have you stayed at SPIE?
A.B.: SPIE gave me my chance from the beginning. They trusted me, even though I had
no experience of the nuclear sector. And every time I have needed a change, they have
granted my requests for internal mobility, both geographical and functional.
I’ve stayed loyal to SPIE for all these reasons, because I feel that I am listened to.
39-year-old Annie Bildgen, a trained engineer, can already look back on several key positions at SPIE.
Between functional services and operational roles, she has progressed through the Group
at her own pace, with full support from her managers. She is moving forward through the Group
with sure steps… without ever getting bored!
