Andy Warhol was an American artist born in 1928 in Pennsylvania who is famous for his pop art works in the 1960s depicting everyday objects like Campbell's Soup cans and portraits of celebrities like Elvis Presley. Some of his most notable works include his 32 canvas paintings of Campbell's Soup cans displayed as they would be in grocery stores in 1962, and his 100 million prints of "Eight Elvises" from that same time period reflecting his pop art style of taking mass produced objects and images and presenting them in an artistic context.
