2. Winthrop University Undergraduate Scholarship Book of Abstracts - 2014
This design was chosen out of multiple others for Winthrop University’s annual Scholarship Book Cover.
I created the cover for the purpose of showing how this book brings each college at Winthrop University
together. This book is a collection of essays to show students, faculty, staff, and others the accomplishments
achieved through vigorous research and studies that students at Winthrop University had done.
3. Sailback typeface
I based the look of this font from my trip in Seattle. My inspiration was derived
from the Seafood Market signage composed of neon lighthing. You can see this
by recognizing how I kept the weight towards the bottom of each letter and
number I created. I ended up with a “sailing” or “pirate” feel, so I addes some
ship-like elements in to the list of glyphs.

dotd fall and spring posters
I was tasked with the job of capturing the Dance and Theatre
Department while also dislaying a list of dates and times for
both the Fall and Spring shows at Winthrop University. I
decided to go with a Neville Brody approach to the logo and
the layout.

Flower
Graphic Illustrations - flowers
The vector flowers was a project I had decided to do as a test
for myslef. I wanted to capture each flower’s vividness as well
as what makes each one different. I used Adobe Illustrator to
create each flower.
7. Graphic Illustrations - Characters
Similar to the flower project, I wanted to create some little
characters as well. The big difference with these, however, is
that I created them so that I could use them in Adobe Flash,
seperating their bodies into individual layers for import. I was
going for a South Park look while adding more features to
make each character feel more unique.
8. WU Events app design
This was a group project where I was given the task to design
and mock-up an app. The idea of the app was created by the
entire group, while I was depended on to make it practical and
to give it form.
It is an app specifically for Winthrop University students
where they would be able to see their cultural events and
invite, remind, or just share an event through social media
while adding it to their calendar for a peronal reminder.
9. Carolina Thread Trail Brochure
For this Carolina Thread Trail brochure project, I wanted to create a visually interesting design while making sure that the
information was accurate and comprehensive for children as well as adults. I used the veins of a leaf to mimick the trails that
make up the Carolina Thread Trail. All text and vectored images were created by me. The photo was taken from their website.

Come See the Yacht Show 2014
September 24-27
Be it fashion, cars, watchmaking or design, cities the world over are often
recognized as being centres of excellence for an aspect of our society. And
today superyachts have their own capital in Monaco. Indeed, the Principality
has for decades fostered a deliberate policy of hospitality, services, leisure
activities and security, attracting owners of the world’s largest yachts.
Monaco Yacht Show is also known as (MYS) and is a trade show that is
held in Monaco’s Port Hercule. The boats can range from 60 feet to yachts
over 500 feet in length. Its Europes largest display of Superyachts, even
bigger than Antibes Yacht Show. The Monaco Yacht Show is held every year
in Port Hercule, surrounded by the magical mediterranean hills of Monaco’s
City. Hundreds of thousands flock to Monaco Yacht Show every year to see
the Superyachts that are for sale and available for charter.
monaco travel poster
With this travel poster I wanted to capture the beauty of Monaco while showing the richness and luxury at the
same time. I ended up using a photo showcasing the super and mega yachts during the yacht show held there.
This photo was taken from a website promoting the yacht show.
12. Many women in the rural part of Uganda spend
most of their day walking and waitng. Having to
decided how to make use of the little water they
have gathered and carried back to their homes
each day allows for only a few chores to be done.
Sometimes, the choice between clean clothes,
watering plants for food, drinking water, bathing,
and using the water to cook with leaves no time to
do anything else after carrying it home.
Life’s most basic need water. But to significantly
cut down disease rates in the developing world,
water is just the first step. Almost everywhere
charity: water builds a freshwater well, we also
require sanitation training. In some communities,
we build latrines; at the very least, we promote
simple hand-washing stations made with readily-
available materials. Clean water can greatly
alleviate the world’s disease burden, but only with
education and hygienic practice. So help us build
lives in Uganda and offer a life full of smiles.
Bring Smiles to Uganda
Clean hands.
Easier water access allows
families to take the time to
bathe without worrying about
running out of clean water.
Take it easy.
In most rural communities world-
wide, women and young girls are
responsible for walking to collect
water for their families.
Come build wells to offer easier,
healthier lives.
Success Awaits.
Clean water allows her to go to
school and get an education.
Uganda travel poster
While researching the country of Uganda, I had realized that it is a country that does not need more tourism, but
rather more help efforts. So, in this poster I had put focus on calling the viewer to action in the form of volunteering
for Charity Water rather than spending time there as a vacation. The photo used was from a Charity Water volunteer
who was also a photographer.
