The narrator stands on an elevated platform waiting to jump with two others. Looking around, they see unusual sights like half-naked men on a cable car, Buddhist monks on cell phones, and their normally fearless friend Mr. Brown scared. After hearing a scream, the first pair who jumped are nowhere to be seen. Leaning over the railing, the narrator sees only a bouncing blur below. Strapped to the rope by one man, they are sent toward another holding the main rope, who tells them to yell "cheese" before letting go and saying "Jump".

1. “And Then He Said Jump”<br />As I stood on that elevated platform,<br />Waiting for the other two to jump,<br />I looked around to get a glimpse of things I normally don’t see.<br />Half-Naked guys going up the cable car,<br />Buddhist Monks babbling on their cell phones,<br />And Mr. Brown actually being scared to do something.<br />I heard a scream and observed my surroundings,<br />The first pair was nowhere to be seen.<br />So I headed over to the railing to eyeball the pair,<br />But the only thing I caught a glimpse of was BOING, BOING, BOING.<br />So I stepped up to the guy who strapped me,<br />Tied me to the rope and sent me towards the guy holding the big rope.<br />He told me to turn around and cry out “cheese”,<br />And then he let go of his rope.<br />And then he said, “Jump”<br />
