BROOM
A broom was a long brush to sweep or mop the floor.
The brooms have changed over the years. Many years
ago, the brooms were made with a bunch of different
branches of natural fibers tied one end.
There is a superstition that associated the fact sweep
to expel all kinds of evils, whether human or divine.
CENACHERO:
Cenachero is a fisherman they would carry fresh in
their hemp basket. They would walk around town jelling
at “fresh fish”, which was for sale.
With every stride “cenacho” would take the hemp
baskets would sway rhythmically to this step.
These baskets had two handles, and normally they were
made of wiches.
They were used to transport meat, fish, vegetables,
fruits and other produces.
HOZ:
A sickle is a curved tool used in agriculture for harvesting grain
crops. It was the tool used before machines were used for
harvesting.
It has a curved blade with an attached handle. The inside part of
the blade is sharp, so that the user can swing the blade against the
crop's base, catching it in the curve and slicing it.
In Greek mythology, the Greek deities Cronus and Perseus used
the sickle as a weapon.
A sickle and a hammer are the symbols of the Soviet Union.
SCYTHE
The scythe was a tool with which our ancestors performed farm
work. It was used mainly, for the collection of the harvest.
The image of death is usually represented as a spectrum with hood
and carrying a scythe in his hand.
SEWING FRAME
Sewing frame is composed of a wooden frame with a
canvas or fabric fixed by this framework.
Long time ago, the frame was used mainly for
embroidery. And today, the frame is used to make some
Virgins and Jesus tunics in Holy Week from Seville
The embroiderers use gold and silver threads for these
tunics.
THE LOOM:
It’s a machine for weaving that can be handcrafted or
industrial. Craft looms are classified into three large
families: racks, vertical and horizontal. Industrial looms
are classified according to the type of tissue that
produce.
This is an old textile workshop in the small town
altoaragonesa Triste, where are kept several artisanal
looms that are woven garments in traditional manner,
using as a source of energy the feet and hands of
weaver.
TONEL:
The winery, or jaraiz, is the container where it is
pressed or press the grapes to get the juice, separating
the skins pulp and, by extension, the building where
keeps such a press. The building often have a cave used
as a winery that usually keeps the wine in large jars.

be used today for being so practical.
Not only is it use to wash clothing, but it also use as
décor.
It’s made out of woo that is carved by hand.
The washboard was supported by river rocks. The
clothing was placed on top of the washboard and
scrubbed.
WICKER CHAIR
