It is being discussed whether X, a supporting character from a
movie, should get his own graphic novel or TV show.
On being asked about the script of the novel or the TV show, the
director of the movie said :
“Audiences have adopted X. I get suggestions on how to take his
character forward from youngsters on the Internet. X isn't your
suave, gun-toting, cool killer. We didn't give X a family life. But he
probably goes back to a family after killing. He probably needs a
second income to support his family. That's why he does the
killings. I don't know. These are the details that need to be
fleshed out. And we're working on it.”
Who is X?
6. 3.
X was launched on August 12, 1998, as a spare time project by Senh
Duong. His goal was "to create a site where people can get access to
reviews from a variety of critics in the US". His inspiration came when, as
a fan of Jackie Chan, Duong started collecting all the reviews of Chan's
movies as they were coming out in the United States.
Duong teamed up with Patrick Y. Lee and Stephen Wang to pursue X on a
full-time basis, officially launching on April 1, 2000.
In June 2004, IGN Entertainment acquired X for an undisclosed sum. In
January 2010, IGN sold the website to Flixster, which produces the most
popular movie ratings app for the iPad and other mobile devices. The
combined reach of both companies is 30 million unique visitors a month
across all different platforms, according to the companies.

Roger Ebert’s review of which film?
“This film is like nothing they've seen before, with its startling
landscapes, architecture and locations, its exuberant colors,
its sudden and joyous musical numbers right in the middle of
dramatic scenes, and its melodramatic acting (teeth gnash,
tears well, lips tremble, bosoms heave, fists clench). At the
same time, it's a memory of the films we all grew up on, with
clearly defined villains and heroes, a romantic triangle, and
even a comic character who saves the day. ___________ is a
well-crafted, hugely entertaining epic that has the spice of a
foreign culture.”
