of Maryland, the Southern Maryland Dental Society is
an affiliate of the Maryland State Dental Association. As
one of the three tiers in tripartite (a three-tiered
membership structure) organized dentistry, the
Southern Maryland Dental Society offers various
benefits and courses to its clinical members. With
classes in radiology, basic anatomy, general dentistry,
infection control, and expanded orthodontic functions,
the Southern Maryland Dental Society helps dentists
remain up to date in the latest advances in dentistry.
The society also assists dentists with vendor
connections in the local community, and holds general
meetings for its members.

Ophir Alalouf, DDS, is a dentist in Rockville, Maryland.
Dr. Alalouf is the owner of Kids Teeth, LLC, as well as a
member of the Southern Maryland Dental Society who
served as the society's Chair of Public Information for
seven years.
