At A.M.M Safety Solutions we strive to deliver a superior quality service to our valued clients. Our
service is based on knowledge and experience gained from working with internationally recognized
companies worldwide.
Aim
We shall equip our clients with the theoretical and practical knowledge to safely and efficiently
conduct work activities based on a zero harm to human capital, the environment and equipment
principles, through designing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing safety management systems
of companies and provide tailor made solutions when required to an individual company.
Method
By adopting and implementing a people centered approach towards safety. Empower management
and enhance the knowledge of the workforce to realize that no one has to get hurt whilst
performing their duties at their work place.

 Companies operating in the onshore/offshore oil and gas sector.
 Companies requiring services of freelance advisor to handle all safety aspects and to liaise
with clients on project activities.
 Small to medium size construction companies who do not necessarily have the financial
means to acquire the services of an experienced safety professional.

Ensure Company compliance to
all National and International
standards with respect to
Occupational Health & Safety
 Carry out inspections and coordinate inspections of
work places
 Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root
causes
 Implement corrective actions resulting from
inspections and investigations
 Ensure employee compliance through training and
development
 Proactive improvement review and implement HSSE
standards by conducting and there after facilitating on
site inductions, toolbox talks, hazard observation cards

 Develop and facilitate safety awareness
 Oversee on-site contractors with respect to
compliance to Company and other regulated safety

 Facilitate safety inductions courses aimed at new
employees and contractors
 Review and all safety documentation.
 Implement and monitor safety requirements to ensure
compliance as per regulation.
 Implement a reporting structure within HSSE
 We shall advise all employees travelling internationally
on “Yellow” Card and the necessary vaccinations and
medication for destination
 Facilitates medicals, entry and exit medicals (as legally
required)

 Ensure that all relevant appointments are made in line
with the applicable legislation and regulation.
 Ensure that the elected Safety representatives are
trained
 Plan and set meeting times annually
 Ensure that minutes kept and circulated
 Ensure that safety representative’s reports are
submitted and monthly checks are discussed and the
necessary corrective actions are taken.
 Incidents that have occurred during the month are
discussed and the appropriate corrective measures are
taken discussed and circulated
Writing and submitting of
reports/forms for all sites and
developments
 Ensure completion of all the relevant forms relating to
incidents.
 Ensure record keeping through recordings
 Ensure proper record keeping of investigation of
incidences.
 Ensure the completion of Near Miss/ Physical
Hazard/Safety suggestions
 Prepare all safety statistics on a monthly basis and
report on trends per yard/site as well as overall
Company statistics and trends
 Manage the observation card system
Emergency Response and First
Aid/fire fighting
 Ensure that the Company has the correct number of
trained first aiders as per the relevant legislation and
regulations.
 Emergency response plans are developed and all
employees are aware of them. This includes medivacs
and travel requirements
 Advise on firefighting requirements and placing of fire
watchers
Environmental Compliance  Ascertain current level of compliance to
local/international standards
 Implement minimum compliance levels as required
and to comply with local/ international standards
Security  Facilitate security of the Company’s premises at all
locations – this includes maintaining electronic
security, surveillance, car and alarm systems
Training  Ensure that all Safety Committee members, Safety
Representatives and first aid personnel are trained
through an accredited training facility
 Provide employees with regular awareness training
related programs which will include topics such as
HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB etc.

As a Safety Officer I have acquired substantial experience in the oil and gas industry which i have
gained over a period of seven (7) years of which four (4) years was off shore and 3years onshore. My
international exposure in the industry was obtained in South East Asia, Middle East, Gulf of Mexico,
South America, West Africa and the North Sea for ENI Saipem as well as Heerema Marine
Contractors. Safety services were provided and performed and major clients who benefitted from
this is Total, BP, Saudi Aramco, Shell, Stat Oil, Talisman and many more.
Working in a multicultural environment allowed me to adapt and implement a people centered
approach towards safety. Strategic goals set is achieved by adapting a coaching/mentoring approach
instead of being the traditional ‘policemen’ on site.
I pride myself in my enthusiasm and energetic approach. Being young and passionate about my
chosen career field will add value to any project I am involved in.
I am also a qualified and competent HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer.) Placing a large amount of
responsibility on safe landing and departures of choppers and ensuring that at all time’s my team
and I are ready to act as 1st responders in any kind of emergency.

I am a highly motivated individual with a penchant for the HSE profession. I have the ability to plan
and co-ordinate operations at different levels of competence. With 23 years working firefighting
and medical experience in a full-time fire department, a progressive career to date has provided me
with a well-developed working knowledge of the Health & Safety Environment. I have encompassed
diverse aspects of management as an HSE Advisor and an HSE Supervisor on various projects and
locations worldwide, the Pazflor Surf Project Load out Norway, Acergy Polaris, Acergy Hawk, Lewek
Leader, AKPO FPSO in Nigeria,to name a few.
