This shows how violent and destructive the scene is. 0.22 The main character rips off his clothing as he feels his body begins to burn. It shows how painful it must feel, as he can’t remove it normally but tears it off of himself. They further experience the pain that he is going through. 0.25 He start insulting his friends. Being a radio drama there is much more description. Without visuals to follow what’s going on, there needs to be more description to let the audience informed of what’s happening. 0.33 Creaking sounds as his limbs stretch and bend. It again shows what a transformation would feel like. It shows them how painful this would be if it actually happened. 0:49 His voice gets deeper. His transformation is both internal and external. This shows that it isn’t just his appearance that changes but everything. 1:02 His voice becomes a roar. He progresses towards the end of his metamorphosis. By now he has completely lost his humanity. 1:17 Church bells This shows that it is at night when this happens. The audience learn that it was late at night when he changed into a werewolf.
