The Amazon rainforest is the largest tropical rainforest in the world, spanning over 5.5 million square kilometers across Brazil and other South American countries. It is home to 10% of the world's species including 20% of bird species. While a hot and humid tropical climate year-round, the Amazon rainforest also hosts dangerous species such as cougars, jaguars, and anacondas.
