A celebration that honors the contributions of Hispanic Women in Southern Arizona will take place on Oct. 25 from 5-7 p.m. at the University of Arizona's Women's Plaza of Honor, a site that publicly and permanently celebrates women who have made significant contributions to the history of Arizona or have enriched the lives of others.

Tulsa Area High School Trumpeters Train to Play Taps at Military Funeralskjprsubmission04
In response to audio recordings of Taps being played at military veterans’ funerals, the Youth Trumpet & Taps Corps is training local high school trumpet players in the art of playing Taps to ensure veterans receive the live tribute they deserve.

celebrate! Come party with alums from UNC Charlotte at their annual Green Tie Gala. Get

2. The Green Tie Gala is a first class event that allows
alumni and friends of the university to party with a
purpose. Proceeds from the event help fund the Dr.
Greg Davis needs-based scholarship which was
established by the Alumni Board of Directors to
recognize his many years of service to the
university. The Green Tie Gala “Speakeasy” should
be one of the highlights of the inaugural AlumNiner
Weekend 2016.”-Terrell Blackmon, ’89,

“The Green Tie Gala has quickly become a fun, signature event by which Charlotte Alums can
reconnect and enjoy fantastic food and music while serving the worthwhile purpose of funding

TICKET INFORMATION:
Early-bird registration is $55 per person for regular attendees and $25 per person for the
first 25 UNC Charlotte current students
Prices will go up $15 per person after March 25, 2016
Online registration ends April 1, 2016.
