Alpacas originate from South America. They have no top teeth, furry and padded two-toed hooves, and are related to camels and llamas. Alpacas communicate dislike by spitting and have communal dung piles. They have three-chambered stomachs and provide humans with meat, wool for clothing, and are sometimes kept as pets. Male alpacas tend to be friendlier than females.
