ALMOST ORIGAMI BOX
1. Cut two squares of matching or co-ordinating
paper. Cut one square 1/4” smaller than the
other. The finished box size is approximately
one third the size of the paper you begin with.
     Set the larger square aside.

2. Make a light pencil mark on the wrong side of
the square indicating the centre. Fold all four
     corners into the centre.

                     •

3. Fold all four edges to the
     centre.

4. Open out the triangle at the right and left
     sides.

5. Make four cuts where
     they are indicated in
     the diagram with a solid
     line

6. Fold the top and bottom edges along the fold
lines. Hold them so that they are perpendicu-
lar to the bottom of the box and push in the
angled pieces at the ends so that they meet
     along the adjacent sides.

7. Fold the left and right sides up, over the fold-
ed in side flaps and into the centre of the box.
You can glue the tips of the triangles down if
     you wish.

8. Repeat the steps for the second square of
paper. It will be just slightly larger as it is the
     top of the box.
