3. 1. Kategori
Alfresco memiliki fitur untuk memberikan kategori-kategori untuk suatu content. Sehingga
content-content yang ada diklasifikasikan berdasarkan kategori yang ditetapkan oleh Admin
sebelumnya. Kategori-kategori yang ada bisa dibuat secara hirarkis.
Untuk memberikan kategori dalam suatu dokumen:
1. Langkah pertama adalah membuat konten agar dapat dikategorikan, klik nama file untuk
menampilkan View Details, pada bagian Document Actions pilih menu Manage Aspects, dan
akan muncul dialog pemilihan aspects. Tambahkanlah aspects Classifiable seperti pada
gambar berikut ini.

2. Klik tombol Apply changes, kemudian pada bagian metadata details content tersebut akan
muncul properties Categories seperti pada gambar.

4. Gambar 2 Aspect Categories telah ditambahkan pad suatu content
3. Kemudian Edit Metadata dari konten tersebut.
4. Pada bagian kategori, klik tombol Select dan pilihlah kategori yang diinginkan contohnya :
'Software Documents Classifications' > 'Software Descriptions' > 'Main Software Descriptions'
dan pilih 'Short System Description'.
