This organic chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction to the Witting reaction mechanism, Witting Reagent preparation
Wittig reaction is an organic chemical reaction wherein an aldehyde or a ketone is reacted with a Wittig Reagent (a triphenyl phosphonium ylide) to yield an alkene along with triphenylphosphine oxide.
It is one of the methods to convert aldehyde or ketone into alkene derivatives.
The Michael reaction or Michael addition is the nucleophilic addition of a carbanion or another nucleophile to an α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound. It belongs to the larger class of conjugate additions.

In this reaction I explained the trick to write the product of knoevenagel Reaction & Reformatsky reaction with detail mechanism.
A Knoevenagel condensation is a nucleophilic addition of an active hydrogen compound to a carbonyl group followed by a dehydration reaction in which a molecule of water is eliminated (hence condensation). The product is often an α,β-unsaturated ketone (a conjugated enone).
The Reformatsky reaction is an organic reaction used to convert an α-haloester and an aldehyde or ketone to a β-hydroxyester using zinc metal followed by an acid work-up. ... An acid work-up then cleaves the zinc-oxygen bond to give the final β-hydroxyester product and a zinc(II) salt.

Bioorganic chemistry studies the relationship between the structures of organic compounds and their biological functions. It examines natural biologically important compounds like biopolymers, vitamins, hormones, antibiotics, and pheromones, as well as synthetic regulators of biological processes like drugs and pesticides. The structure and presence of functional groups in a molecule determine a compound's chemical properties. Nomenclature describes the complete structure of organic molecules using various naming systems, including trivial, radicofunctional, and IUPAC substitutive nomenclature.
Types Of Chemical Bonds- Ionic Bond,Covalent Bonds,Coordinate Bonds, Basic In...Anjali Bhardwaj
The document discusses different types of chemical bonds formed by atoms to achieve stable inert gas electronic configurations:
1) Ionic bonds occur through complete electron transfer between atoms, making one positively charged and one negatively charged. The ions are then held together by electrostatic attraction.
2) Covalent bonds involve sharing of electrons between atoms of similar electronegativity to attain stable configurations.
3) Coordinate bonds are a type of covalent bond where both shared electrons are donated by one atom to an acceptor atom in need of electrons.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
