Alan Rickman was an English actor known for his wide variety of roles on both stage and screen. He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and won a Golden Globe and Emmy for his portrayal of Rasputin. Rickman had a successful film career spanning over 40 years before passing away from cancer in 2016 at the age of 69.

from 1977 until his death.
