This document discusses basic measures of airline economics including available seat kilometers (ASK), revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), load factor, yield cost/yield factor, and unit cost per available seat mile (CASM). It provides examples to calculate each measure using flights from JFK to ORD on Boeing aircraft and explains concepts like load factor is RPK/ASK multiplied by 100% to determine the percentage of available seats filled with paying passengers.
Structural Weight Optimization of Aircraft Wing Component Using FEM Approach.IJERA Editor
One of the main challenges for the civil aviation industry is the reduction of its environmental impact by better fuel efficiency by virtue of Structural optimization. Over the past years, improvements in performance and fuel efficiency have been achieved by simplifying the design of the structural components and usage of composite materials to reduce the overall weight of the structure. This paper deals with the weight optimization of transport aircraft with low wing configuration. The Linear static and Normal Mode analysis were carried out using MSc Nastran & Msc Patran under different pressure conditions and the results were verified with the help of classical approach. The Stress and displacement results were found and verified and hence arrived to the conclusion about the optimization of the wing structure.
defines the condition of an aircraft and supplies the basis for judgement of the suitability for flight of that aircraft, in that it has been designed, constructed, maintained and is expected to be operated to approved standards and limitations, by competent and approved individuals, who are acting as members of an approved organisation and whose work is both certified as correct and accepted on behalf of the Government of Malaysia.
Two models are present, the first is point to point model and demonstrated the minimizing cost issue, while the other model is Multi-stops operating model, and it is addressing profit maximization.

Airport security facilitation is the process of ensuring that passengers and their luggage are screened and cleared for travel in a safe and efficient manner. The primary objective of airport security facilitation is to prevent dangerous items from being carried onto aircraft, which could pose a threat to the safety of passengers and crew.
Airport security facilitation typically involves several steps, including:
Check-in: Passengers are required to check-in for their flight and provide identification, which is verified by airline staff.
Security screening: Passengers and their luggage are screened for prohibited items, such as weapons or explosives, using various technologies such as x-ray scanners, metal detectors, and body scanners.
Boarding: Once passengers and their luggage have been screened, they are allowed to board the aircraft and take their seats.
To facilitate the airport security process, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport well in advance of their scheduled departure time, and to follow all instructions given by airport and airline staff. Additionally, passengers should pack their luggage carefully, and avoid carrying prohibited items in their carry-on or checked luggage

Cargo booking on airlines typically involves the process of reserving space on an aircraft to transport goods from one location to another. Here are the basic steps for booking cargo on an airline:
Contact the airline: The first step is to get in touch with the airline you wish to use. This can typically be done online, by phone, or through a freight forwarding company.
Provide details: You will need to provide details about the cargo you want to transport, including the size and weight of the shipment, as well as the origin and destination.
Get a quote: The airline will provide you with a quote for the cost of transporting your cargo. The cost will depend on factors such as the weight and size of the shipment, as well as the distance between the origin and destination.
Book the shipment: If you are satisfied with the quote, you can go ahead and book the shipment. You may need to provide additional information, such as the pick-up and delivery dates.
Prepare the shipment: You will need to prepare the cargo for transport, which may include packing it in a suitable container and labeling it with the necessary information.
Drop off the shipment: Once the cargo is ready, you will need to drop it off at the designated location. The airline will typically provide instructions on where to do this.
Track the shipment: You can track the shipment using the airline's tracking system to monitor its progress and ensure it arrives at its destination on time.
It's worth noting that the specific process for booking cargo on an airline may vary depending on the airline and the type of cargo being transported. Additionally, some airlines may have specific requirements for the types of cargo they will transport, so it's important to check with the airline before booking.

Auroras, also known as the Northern or Southern Lights, are natural light displays that occur in the polar regions of the Earth. They are caused by energetic particles from the sun, known as solar wind, interacting with the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere.
When these charged particles collide with the atoms and molecules in the Earth's upper atmosphere, they excite them and cause them to emit light. The colors of the aurora depend on the type of atom or molecule being excited and the altitude at which the collision occurs. Green and red auroras are caused by excited oxygen atoms, while blue and purple auroras are caused by excited nitrogen molecules.
Auroras typically occur in a band around the magnetic poles, which is why they are most commonly seen in the high-latitude regions such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Canada, and Alaska. They are most visible during the winter months when the nights are longer and darker, and can be seen from the ground or from space.
Auroras are not harmful to humans, but they can disrupt satellite and radio communications, as well as power grids. They are also considered to be one of the most beautiful natural phenomena on Earth, and are a popular attraction for tourists and photographers alike

Customs and immigration refer to the processes and procedures that are in place to regulate the movement of people and goods across international borders. Customs and immigration are usually managed by government agencies that are responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to international trade, travel, and security.
Immigration refers to the process of entering a foreign country for the purpose of living or working there. Immigration policies vary from country to country, and they often involve a series of checks and requirements, such as visas, work permits, and background checks, to ensure that individuals who enter a country are authorized to do so and do not pose a threat to national security.
Customs, on the other hand, refers to the process of regulating the movement of goods across international borders. Customs officials are responsible for inspecting and verifying the contents of shipments, assessing customs duties and taxes, and enforcing import and export regulations.
Customs and immigration play an important role in maintaining the security and economic stability of a country. They help to prevent the entry of illegal goods and people, and they ensure that international trade is conducted in a fair and regulated manner.

Levelwise PageRank with Loop-Based Dead End Handling Strategy : SHORT REPORT ...Subhajit Sahu
Abstract — Levelwise PageRank is an alternative method of PageRank computation which decomposes the input graph into a directed acyclic block-graph of strongly connected components, and processes them in topological order, one level at a time. This enables calculation for ranks in a distributed fashion without per-iteration communication, unlike the standard method where all vertices are processed in each iteration. It however comes with a precondition of the absence of dead ends in the input graph. Here, the native non-distributed performance of Levelwise PageRank was compared against Monolithic PageRank on a CPU as well as a GPU. To ensure a fair comparison, Monolithic PageRank was also performed on a graph where vertices were split by components. Results indicate that Levelwise PageRank is about as fast as Monolithic PageRank on the CPU, but quite a bit slower on the GPU. Slowdown on the GPU is likely caused by a large submission of small workloads, and expected to be non-issue when the computation is performed on massive graphs.
