This document describes an experiment to demonstrate air pressure. Families are asked to place a piece of paper in a small glass of water, which is then placed inside a larger glass of water. They are instructed to observe whether the paper gets wet and asked to write any comments. The purpose is to show through observation whether air pressure prevents water from transferring between the inner and outer glasses.
