Joined AIESEC in Sep 2008
From Feb - Mar 2009 Morocco for DT to work together with other EPs from different countries in a program relating HIV/AIDS issues
After Morocco in Aug 2009 Linda went to Columbia for paid Education Traineeship

Now a few short fragments about Linda’s insights of Colombia from her letters…
“ People here know Latvia more than in M o rocco , but the funniest thing is how they pronounce the word "Latvia". They say " Latbiha " because of the different sound of the same letters in Spanish. ”
“ In shops here there are no bigger shoe sizes for women than 39. For men it's 43 (and they consider it to be a large size for a men ’ s shoe). When I tell my Columbian friends that in Latvia 43-45 is the medium size for men, they ask what gigants do live there in Latbiha? :D ” “ In shops here there are no bigger shoe sizes for women than 39. For men it's 43 (and they consider it to be a large size for a men ’ s shoe). When I tell my Colombian friends that in Latvia 43-45 is the medium size for men, they ask “ W hat giants do live there in Latbiha? :D ”
“ In the neighborhood of the house we live in is a kindergarten. There they have parrots, who imitate the sounds of little kids – laughing, screaming, talking, crying , etc. On early Sunday mornings it can get really irritating. Therefore we have such plans as sending a spy parrot, who teaches them to be silent or just make a grilled parrot :D"
"In Spanish "linda" means "beautiful". Now I start to think that it's unfortunate, because everyone w ho I meet for the first time wants to be the one who announces me these "news". It would be easier if I was Maria, which is the name of every second woman  "
