Kakheti, located in eastern Georgia, is known for its vineyards, fortresses, and churches. Visitors can experience traditional Georgian hospitality and learn about the region's cultural heritage through activities like grape gathering, winemaking demonstrations, and baking bread in traditional clay ovens. Kakheti is home to over 300 grape varieties and the oldest wine in the region dates back to the Rabat Castle in Akhaltsikhe. Georgia has been internationally recognized as the oldest wine-producing region.
