A Big Visible Information Radiator (BVIR) is a visual tool used in Agile teams to communicate information to the whole team. It can display things like a burn down chart to show iteration status and progress toward goals. A burn up chart shows progress while accounting for scope changes. A Kanban board visually depicts the flow of work items through different stages like ready, in process, and done. Other useful information for a BVIR includes team values, retrospective goals, definitions of ready and done, and a contact list.
