Here' s a short list of some of the new features added or improved in Adobe After Effects
2019:
•3D depth effects: depth matte, depth of field, 3D channel Extract with anti-aliasing, fog3D...
•Puppet tool articulation: a better articulation with an advanced puppet engine and advanced
pin tools for better positioning, rotation, and scale
•Track planes in Mocha AE from AE easily by adding the Mocha plugin effect, tracking, then just
closing Mocha AE
•Responsive design: mark the intro and outro, right click and set them as responsive designs,
thus the in and out will always exist even if you shorten the precomposite in other compositions
•Essential graphics further control: add groups to keep everything easier to see. There is a new property
edit to force fonts to remain consistent. We can also import ".TSV" files (tab separated values) that we
can export from Excel sheets or Sheets documents or a ".CSV" (which is a comma separated values file)
that become layers in the timeline which we can scroll down and add their data properties to the
essential graphics for premiere pro
• A rocket icon in the project pane to change GPU
• New VR view in 180-degree view if you have a VR headset in the composition window
• Home icon as a tool
• File > script > and install scripts from AE
• Import FLA files (from animate CCs)
• Lumetri Curves new color hue sat range specifics
•Change expression engines = project settings > expressions > expression engine (JavaScript faster than
the old legacy extendscript used before)
•Expression look which appears now in a monospace font.
•We can close expression error windows now without hassle.
•Guidelines can be set with pixel precisions (right click and set positions)
