The title is “African Muslim Roots in Ancient America: Historical Vestiges of the Great Sea Journey of Mansa Kankan Abu Bakr II (ca. 712 H/1312 CE)”.
Many Muslims often criticize the Mystics, most especially those renowned with ecstatic statements. Shaykh Jamiu Bulala belonged to this realm, many have yearned about his biography, thus, this is an excerpt from my Undergraduate Thesis. It is hoped that after thorough analysis of the Sage, one will be left to decide as to whether Tasawwuf is Shari'ah compliant or Bid'ah. ENJOY!

The Great Pyramid and the Bible (Antediluvian ship near Viminacium.pdfsinsunca
"The largest ship, 15 meters long and 2.65 meters wide, was found at a depth of about seven meters below the surface of the earth, and Roman graves end at a depth of two meters! That is why it is currently impossible to say from which chronological period the vessels originate. They were found in the same area as the million-year-old mammoth remains, at a depth of 19-20 meters. According to that analogy, the ships would come from a period of 70,000 years ago, which is impossible. That's why we sent their exceptionally well-preserved oak wood for age analysis using the C-14 method, as well as others, because we found ourselves in front of a big and completely mysterious discovery." This slide deck comprises the second part of a two-part study on the history of Christianity. It is one of a series of basic studies on the Bible and other topics of interest to Christians intended to help leaders of a Bible study or Sunday School class who are too busy to research and prepare as well as they would like for their task. The entire “Lessons-to-Go” series is engaging, colorful and challenging and is ready to go even at the last moment.
The history of the US is so rich with events that made the whole US nation. In this presentation, few narratives on the formation of the US nation are presented.

The Maritime Revolution, to 1550
I
n 1511 young Ferdinand Magellan sailed from Europe around the southern tip of
Africa and eastward across the Indian Ocean as a member of the first Portuguese
expedition to explore the East Indies (maritime Southeast Asia). Eight years later,
this time in the service of Spain, he led an expedition that sought to reach the East
Indies by sailing westward. By the middle of 1521 Magellan's expedition had achieved
its goal by sailing across the Atlantic, rounding the southern tip of South America,
and crossing the Pacific Ocean-but at a high price.
Of the five ships that had set out from Spain in 1519, only three made the long
passage across the vast Pacific. Dozens of sailors died from starvation and disease
during the voyage. In the Philippines, Magellan, having survived numerous mutinies
during the voyage, died in battle on April 27, 1521, while aiding a local ruler who had
promised to become a Christian.
To consolidate their dwindling resources, the expedition's survivors burned the
least seaworthy of their remaining three ships and consolidated men and supplies. In
the end only the Victoria made it home across the Indian Ocean and back to Europe.
Nevertheless, the Victoria's return to Spain on September 8, 1522, was a crowning
example of Europeans' determination to make themselves masters of the oceans.
A century of daring and dangerous voyages backed by the Portuguese crown had
opened new routes through the South Atlantic to Africa, Brazil, and the rich trade
of the Indian Ocean. Rival voyages sponsored by Spain since 1492 opened new con
tacts with the American continents. A maritime revolution was under way that would
change the course of history.
This new maritime era marked the end of a long period when Asia had initiated
most overland and maritime expansion. Asia had been the source of the most useful
technologies and the most influential systems of belief. It was also home to the most
powerful states and the richest trading networks. The success of Iberian voyages
of exploration in the following century would redirect t ...

1 Contact and Conquest: THE MEETING OF THE OLD AND NEW WORLDS
HISTORICAL CONTEXT
On “Discovery Day” 1892, the citizens of the United States were in a festive mood. Along parade routes, at neighborhood picnics, and in town square rallies, flag-waving Americans celebrated the four hundredth anniversary of Columbus’s voyage by eating hot dogs, swaying to the music of brass bands, and applauding local celebrities who touted the exploits of the “Admiral of the Ocean Sea.”
In large cities, the festivities were more elaborate. In New York, for example, the editors of the New York Times used hyperbole to describe the opening of the Columbian Celebration: “YOUNG AMERICA LEADS OFF–FIRST OF THE GREAT PARADES OF COLUMBUS WEEK—SOLID MASSES OF HUMANITY LINE THE ROUTE—THE CITY HIDDEN UNDER FLAGS AND BUNTING.” The next day, it wrote, “BEFORE TWO MILLION EYES—THE GREAT PARADE OF WAR SHIPS AND RIVER CRAFT—SPECTATORS HIDE THE WATER FRONT FROM SIGHT.” On the third day, the headlines screamed, “THE CLIMAX OF THE WEEK–ALL PAST PARADE RECORDS SENT TO THE REAR–CASCADES OF GAY COLORS EVERYWHERE–THE AVENUES PACKED WITH VAST THRONGS BY SUNRISE AND FILLED TO THEIR UTMOST CAPACITY ALL DAY AND NIGHT—MODEL WORK BY THE POLICE IN HANDLING THE GREATEST CROWD NEW-YORK EVER HELD.”
The quadricentennial parties in New York City, as spectacular as they were, could not match the size or duration of the festivities in Chicago. On October 21, 1892, Chicago's World Columbian Exposition—an event destined to attract about 40 percent of the U.S. population!—held its opening-day ceremonies. Cardinal James Gibbons declared:
· Four hundred years ago Columbus discovered this American continent, and therefore, we are primarily indebted to him for the land which we enjoy in peace and security. Columbus united the skill and daring of a navigator with the zeal of an apostle, and in his voyage of exploration he was not only impelled by the desire of enriching his sovereign with the wealth of new dominions, but he was also inspired by the lofty ambition of carrying the light of the Gospel to a people that were buried in the darkness of idolatry…. Fervent should be our gratitude since we possess the fruits of his labors and of his victory. But not for this earthly possession only should we be thankful, more for the precious boon of constitutional liberty which we inherit.
Gibbons's words resonated with themes common to most 1892 Columbus observances. For millions of late-nineteenth-century Americans, hailing Columbus was synonymous with celebrating the progress of humanity, the opening of the American frontier, the triumph of Western technology, the advance of the Christian religion, and the spread of democratic institutions.
One hundred years later, Americans prepared for the five hundredth anniversary of the Columbus voyage. This time, however, reflections on the era of Old and New World contact evoked different reactions. There were plenty of parades and patriotic speeches. But there were also s ...

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Crossing the Western Ocean [the Atlantic]: The Fleets of the African Muslim King Abu Bakr II (early 1300s) The Historical Account: I would like to read to you a translation of part of the story that the great West African King, King Abu Bakr II of Mali. His younger brother, the famous King Mansa Kankan Musa, reported to a well-known Arab historian the following story about his brother. Al-Umari, the historian, reports it in his famous history, Routes toward Insight into the Capital Empires [of the World]. Mansa Kankan Musa tells of how his brother fell in love with the idea that he could cross the Atlantic—which broke on the western shores of his empire of Ancient Mali—and how he sent two large fleets of ships to cross the sea. The Empire of Mali never heard of him again, but clay statues of West African Muslims appear in the art of Ancient Mexico and Incan Peru around that same time. The heads we just saw are also excellent examples of possible remnants of the fleets of Abu Bakr II.
