3. ORANGE RIVER
The Orange River a river in Southern Africa. It is the longest river in
South Africa. With a total length of 2,432 km (1,511 mi), the Orange River Basin
extends from Lesotho into South Africa and Namibia to the north. It rises in
the Drakensberg mountains in Lesotho, flowing westwards through South
Africa to the Atlantic Ocean. The river forms part of the international borders
between South Africa and Lesotho and between South Africa and Namibia, as
well as several provincial borders within South Africa.

4. NILE RIVER
The Nile is a major north-flowing river in northeastern Africa.
It flows into the Mediterranean Sea. The Nile is the longest
river in Africa and has historically been considered the
longest river in the world, though this has been contested by
research suggesting that the Amazon River is slightly longer.

5. GREAT RIFT VALLEY
The Great Rift Valley is a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 7,000
kilometres (4,300 mi) in total length, that runs from Lebanon in Asia to Mozambique in
Southeast Africa.[1]
While the name continues in some usages, it is rarely used in geology as it
is considered an imprecise merging of separate though related rift and fault systems.
Today, the term is most often used to refer to the valley of the East African Rift, the
divergent plate boundary which extends from the Afar Triple Junction southward across
eastern Africa, and is in the process of splitting the African Plate into two new separate plates.
Geologists generally refer to these incipient plates as the Nubian Plate and the Somali Plate.

6. CONGO RIVER
The Congo River, formerly also known as the Zaire River, is
the second longest river in Africa, shorter only than the Nile, as
well as the second largest river in the world by discharge
volume, following only the Amazon. It is also the world's
deepest recorded river, with measured depths around 219.5 m

7. SAHARA DESERT
The Sahara is a desert on the African continent.
With an area of 9,200,000 square kilometres, it is
the largest hot desert in the world and the third-
largest desert overall, smaller only than the deserts
of Antarctica and the northern Arctic
