The Affordable Care Act is a 2,700-page piece of legislation passed on March 23, 2010. The goal of the ACA is to reduce the number of uninsured Americans. The act's goal is not without controversy - approximately 30 lawsuits have been filed questioning Constitutionality of the ACA.
