Established in 1946, AFCEA is a non-profit
organization serving its members by providing a
forum for the ethical exchange of information,

technology, communications and electronics for the
defense, homeland security and intelligence
communities.

Our Mission
To promote the ethical exchange of information and
facilitate knowledge sharing and education in the
areas of information technology, communications
and electronics.
Our Vision
To be a leading IT, communications and electronics
association for professionals in government,
industry and academia in south central Alaska.

 Provide relevant & interesting programs in luncheon
format at BP Energy Center (Oct, Nov, Jan-Apr)
 Build fully functional scholarships & grants program
 Issue STEM Grants to deserving teachers ($4K)
 Build Scholarship Program
 Conduct at least one AFCEA-sponsored annual
recurring event (JBER IT Expo, May 15, 2013)
 Expand corporate sponsorship program
 Maintain budget/expense transparency
 Expand electronic presence (web, social, Google)
 Conduct one social with UAA w/guest speakers
