14. AEC Budget 2009 – Salient Features
AEC Budget 2009 is a Cost Estimation, Budgeting and Planning tool to quickly calculate cost of
a project structured on Bill of Quantities in database environment. This is done in shortest
possible time than any other conventional applications do.
AEC Budget has the following prominent features –
A Planning Tool
A Resource Management Tool
A User Friendly Bidding and Project Management Software
Data Transfer to MS Office Applications
A Tool to Present MIS Reports
The Tool Generates Project Critical Reports, eg. Resources Summary, Machinery Summary, etc.
A Budgeting Tool which Generates Both Indirect and Direct Cost Reports
We realized the need to develop a cost estimation tool specifically for Indian standards.
With this intention in mind, ProBID+ evolved in 2007.
ProBID+ 2009 is fully customized to these standards with the support of CPWD and
MOSRTH standard books.

15. AEC Buildings 2009 – Salient Features
AEC Buildings 2009 is a Project Quantity Estimation and 3D Solid Modeling Application. Helps
you to quickly prepare your
Designs
Drawings
Dimensioning
Quantity Estimation
Why AEC Buildings 2009? To take care of :
Project delays from inception to planning and execution stages by way of quick quantity
Estimation to work out budgets and financial viability
Project shop drawings during implementation stage
Rhythm of L, B, D and cross referencing
In every project design and drawing engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers spend
their precious weeks to keep recreating drawings & quantity calculations to suit their spot
requirements. AEC Buildings 2009 does all that in minutes.
AEC Buildings 2009 is designed to take care of fresh & busy engineers to use difficult AutoCAD
drafting in 3D environment faster with ease. Quantity estimation and Bill of quantities
preparation are made simple through AEC Buildings 2009.

16. AEC Slope 2009 – Salient Features
Earth embankments are widely used for roads, railways, river training works, canal
embankments, dams, etc. Failure of these structures results in loss of life and damages to
property.
AEC Slope 2009 analyzes stability of slopes for the above structures and reports safety factors
AEC Slope 2009 provides required accurate solution for designers to assess adequacy of safety
factor and its proof of arriving such values enabling them to modify suitably the required
section directly on the output drawing itself.
The drawing drawn for adequacy checks is directly useful for issue as construction drawing for
execution.
With AEC Slope 2009, designs of earthen structures are now just few clicks away with minimum
input data.
Intermediate checks could be carried out to suit site engineers for any design review and
adequacy according to the availability of materials at site.
AEC Slope 2009 covers the procedure for analyzing the stability of earth dam slopes for
different conditions of loading to which the dam is expected to be subjected during its life time.
The analysis covers all types of shear test results that can be used, conditions requiring
analysis, methods of analysis and considerations for earthquake forces.

17. AEC Culverts 2009 – Salient Features
AEC Culverts 2009 models in 3D the following cross drainage structures generally used for
roads, canals, earth dams, railway banks, runways and similar projects.
Box Culverts
Slab Culverts
Pipe Culverts
Wing walls for above
Return Walls
Floor Protection works
Multiple vents or multiple pipes can be extruded. Linear or curved paths can be used for
extrusion.
Drawings given in National standards which are commonly used in construction industry are
already available in the database. These standard dimensions can be modified to suit your
project requirements and can be modeled accurately as you desire.
AEC Culverts 2009 can extract accurate quantities of the structures for planning/scheduling
them into project plans.
Output drawings generated by AEC Culverts 2009 AutoCAD are your shop drawings and can be
used by site execution team.

18. AEC Terrain 2009 – Salient Features
AEC Terrain 2009 creates Digital Terrain Model from multiple point files on AutoCAD graphic
editor.
All purpose multi-level pads can be generated on the terrain on different layers with different
slope parameters for CUT and FILL.
Work with as ease as you are with AutoCAD. Now earth work calculations are just simple and
few clicks away.
Useful for Building level pads, Foundation excavations, drains, canals, earthen dams,
embankments, bridge approaches, mining, road formations and so on.
AEC Terrain generates the following –
TIN Surface Profiles
Contours Area calculations from Cross sections
Finished TIN surface Volume between two surfaces
Automatic Foundation Excavation Volume between surface and plane
Footing Coordinates top/bottom surface Volume of thickened surface
Writes new surface point file TIN surface areas for horticulture developments
Cross Sections Overlapped pads are automatically taken care
