RECRUITMENT OF A MARKETING OFFICER
Ndejje University is seeking to recruit a self motivated and result oriented person to fill the
position of a marketing officer
Roles and responsibilities
 Create, update and amend document, letter & email templates ensuring they meet the
university branding guidelines.
 Maintaining the university’s websites, social media profiles & online listings with up to
date information to develop online presence
 Upload weekly blog articles & press/media articles to website.
 Create and manage marketing lists and send client communications
 Co-ordinate the production & distribution of press releases & other media articles to raise
the university profile.
 Implementing and mainstreaming procedures and processes within the department.
Requirements / Experience:
 Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant arena.
 Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
 Appreciation and understanding of implementing business processes , systems and
technology.
 Attention to detail, strong grammar and punctuation, and good proofreading skills.
The salary is dependent on experience, graduates will be considered as will candidates with no
formal relevant qualifications as significant experience and a proven track record in a similar role
will override qualifications. This is a newly created role due to the continued substantial growth
