Tobie Wiese obtained his BComm,LLB,LLM and LLD degrees
from the University of Stellenbosch.He is a qualified attorney,
notary, and conveyancer, and a certified mediator. He
worked for many years as a corporate legal adviser for a
multinational retail company, during which time he was
involved in resolving a multitude of disputes, both internally
and externally with third parties, using the different dispute
resolution mechanisms. He also taught alternative dispute
resolution courses at LLB and LLM level for a number of
years. He has published articles on company law, labour
law and alternative dispute resolution, and a book on
corporate governance.
