She cried for all the broken hearts,
Poetry Painted everlasetched ting winters –
Floral patterns in ice;
A frozen tear to
Soften up the bastard bones.
Bow made love to needy string
In cooing fling – wanton whispers
Fondled under pianissimos,
Caressing callous hearts.
Melodrama swayed in satin sound
– Yet the player wasn’t there,
Only creamy song, soothing, yearning,
Teasing bitter minds.
I sensed her persevering loneliness
For beauty of an evening:
Romance of a tune; laughing,
Sobbing at the fire.
Then a climax –
Writhing passion cutting deep –
Wounding macho flesh,
And all in a work of musical art:
Ephemeral stories, yarned of music
Honed impossibly through her tones.

5. Current Projects and Follow Your
Bliss: The Best of Senses Fail (2012) article
On July 13, 2011, Senses Fail posted "We are hanging writing new songs
and practicing for the shows this weekend." on their Facebook
page, suggesting writing for a new album has begun. The band has also
been posting various pictures via Twitter and Instagram of them in the
studio.
Senses Fail announced that they would be going on tour with Stick To Your
Guns, Make Do and Mend, and The Story So Far in November.
The band then released The Fire on vinyl through Mightier Than Sword
Records.
Senses Fail has been confirmed to be playing on the 2012 Vans Warped
Tour. They will also be releasing a greatest hits album entitled Follow Your
Bliss: The Best of Senses Fail which features music from all of their
previous albums and comes with an added four-track EP of new songs.
The album is scheduled to release on June 19, 2012 in a double-CD
package and will be limited to 10,000 copies.

Dinner Aims to Raise Funds for Dixon High
Athletics
• Excitement is building up as the Dixon High Athletic Association prepares
to announce this year’s inductees into the Dixon High School Hall of Fame.
The inductees will be announced Friday night at a Homecoming Reception
and Golf Tournament Awards dinner at El Macero Golf Club in Davis.
• The day’s events will begin with a golf tournament that serves as a
fundraiser for Dixon High School’s Athletic Program said Juan Cornejo, one
of the event’s organizers.
• “We are pretty close to being sold out on the golf tournament itself,”
Cornejo said. “This is the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament. All the money that
we raise is for the support of Dixon High athletics.”
• Although most of spots for the golf tournament are sold, there are still
some foursomes for $800 still available. A foursome includes:
• Signed baseball from one of these MLB players: Will Clark, Dennis
Eckersley, Ricky Henderson, Reggie Jackson, Tim Lincecum, Mike
Piazza, Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez or Brian Wilson, (randomly selected)
