2. Why this study was conducted?
Fabrication of scaffolds from PHB and PHBV for tissue engineering
produce only thin films or 3-D scaffolds less than 2 mm → NONE of
the studies produced 3-D scaffolds more than 2 mm in thickness.
The usage of variety of PHB and PHBV concentration from 1% to
5% (w/v) in chloroform → but still producing only thin films →
NONE of the studies identified the ideal concentration for
fabricating 3-D scaffolds.
Problems of using SCPL techniques → residual of porogen →
