2. Adtex is Adbruf’s resin binder system which, when used in conjunction with
selected aggregates, provides a complete resin bonded surfacing system,
sometimes referred to as “scatter coat”, “broadcast” or “coat” systems.
A variety of colours, shades and textures is achievable by the selection of
specially selected aggregates available from Adbruf.
Adtex has been developed to provide an attractive, highly durable surface. It
is often used in prestige developments to give a “luxury” feel and the range of
aggregate colours and installation method allows the introduction of attractive
design elements into landscaping and refurbishment projects.

4. GEOPAVEResin Bound Decorative Surfacing
Geopave is Adbruf’s resin binder system for use in resin bound aggregate paving systems
which are typically applied externally with a trowel or power float finish onto a suitable
stable sub-base. Adbruf offer a range of resins and wide variety of suitable decorative
aggregates for use in resin bound surfacing, which combines durability and performance
with stunning appearance.
Resin Bound surfacing is highly attractive and the range of colours and textures available
from natural and manufactured aggregates, coupled with the possible use of other design
elements, gives the specifier many different design options with surface appearance.

Adding a glaze coat to a resin surface has
many benefits including enhancing the
colours of the aggregate (resin bonded)
and revitalising the glossy appearance of
the surface (resin bound). Adding a glaze
coat also protects the surface from fungal,
algae and weed growth.

AdGlaze is a highly effective 2
part solvent-based glaze coat for
protecting resin bonded aggregate
surfacing. AdGlaze makes cleaning
easier and provides resistance to
fading and staining. When used
over resin bonded aggregate
surfaces it also helps restrict
aggregate loss.
GeoGlaze is a solvent-free 2 part,
rapid curing glaze coat to
enhance performance on
installations of resin bound
aggregate surfacing. It revitalises
the substrate, giving it a highly
attractive, glossy appearance.
GeoGlaze provides ease of
cleaning and resistance to water,
stains, food oils and grease marks
and will further strengthen the
resin bound aggregate surface.
VOID FILLER
Void Filler is a cement based crack filling system that is used to regulate an
uneven substrate in preparation for the application of a resin bonded
paving system. It is strong, has good adhesion and is easy to apply to most
commonly encountered surfaces.
For resin bonded surfacing, the texture depth of the surface has a direct
bearing on the quantity of resin required to bond aggregate particles to
the substrate. Every 1 mm of texture depth in the substrate requires an
additional 1 litre of resin per square metre simply to fill the texture before
a film suitable for the adhesion of aggregate can be achieved.
Void Filler regulates the surface texture and imparts a consistent surface
on which the usage of the resin subsequently applied can be accurately
predicted and costed.
