A Closer Look: Data Science Consulting Firm - Business Analysis on Clients an...For The Women Foundation
As the world of Data Science emerges here in the Philippines, where does the future lie for a consulting company who depends on Data Science and Analytics to help improve their clients? For The Wine Team composed of Gladys Joyce Yu and Jan Stephanie Roxas helped a consulting company to group clients and analyze who brings the most profit to the company. They also helped identify the qualities of a productive consultant that will help every data scientist to be more effective in this field.
Given only the billable hours from projects, the focus of this study was to find out which client types are most profitable and which employee types are most productive. With the results of our study, a Data Science consulting firm could:
strategize if they should target certain industries as clients
identify a high potential employee based on their profile
monitor the productivity rate of employees to have a check and balance
What jobs do data analysts have? What companies hire for these different roles? What skills does an aspiring analyst need to be hired in one of these roles?
